I generally don't re-post a lot of other blogs, it's all out there for everybody to see in most cases. I picked this up today via There's Dungeons Down Under, though, who posted a link to a blog (UAD&D) which was new to me. Based on the handful of public followers perhaps it will be new to you as well. The author of the subject blog has some interesting points rather critical of WotC's business model that seem topical in wake of the
D&D Next play-testing and the continued popularity of Pathfinder and
the OSR. You might be saying, "yeah, yeah, yeah... critical of WotC, stand in line..." but in this case it strikes me as very constructive criticism. I'm not in publishing and I'm not a consultant, but as a
longtime player of the game and D&D consumer this was of interest to
me, so maybe it will be of interest to you. Follow the links as you see fit.
